Powerlessness

Doing more than I can,

Suffering when I don’t,

Wanting, just if I could,

Worrying that I won’t.

 

Less than I should,

Lost when I can’t,

Failing again,

Insignificant.

 

Truths

We are equal under God,

Imperfect in our doing,

The Source is our happiness,

His Will is our being.

 

All belongs to Him,

His guidance is right there,

And making no mistakes

We’re children in His care.

 

Relinquishing my will

The Witness sees

That I can let go,

Knows I'm all there is

And all there is to know.

 

I'm in God's hands

As Faith will reveal,

Accepting these truths,

Choosing what is Real.
